According to Inps (Italian Social Welfare Institute) data, in 2023 there were 1.4 million employees in tourism (+31.3% in 10 years), 26.8% of whom were foreigners and 52.3% female.
About half (45.8% are fixed-term employees), but as many as 58.7% are over 40 years old. How to bring young people into the profession, what tools should be used to make them grow within the sector.
